Second, there is the 1/2 horsepower pump that will take over in the event that the first one stops working or if there is a heavier volume of water. This secondary pump can discharge up to 3,900 additional gallons of water per hour also at an 8-foot head. Finally, there is the UltraSump Battery Backup System which will keep the sump pump system running in the event you have a power outage or a tripped circuit. This device can pump out up to 11,500 gallons of water or more on a fully charged battery! No matter what the conditions are, this homeowner can rest assured that the TripleSafe Sump Pump System will transport the water out and away from their basement.

A homeowner in Beacon, NY had a dirt crawl space that needed a full waterproofing system installed. The homeowner contacted our team here at The Basement Transformer to see how we could help make their crawl space a dry and healthy space. Our specialist conducted an inspection of the crawl space in question and determined that we needed to install our CleanSpace Encapsulation System and TripleSafeSump Pump System.

Our production crew got to work and began installing each product to transform the crawl space.

The CleanSpace Encapsulation System was put in place to seal off the crawl space from the earth and to keep the water vapor out.  It is a 20-mil thick plastic liner that is extremely flexible and durable and does not support mold growth on the liner thanks to the built in antimicrobial additive. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System also allows the water to flow to your sump pump.

The TripleSafe Sump Pump System provides the ultimate protection against flooding and is capable of discharging thousands of gallons of water from your home. It is equipped with two cast iron Zoller horsepower pumps and an UltraSump Battery Backup System. The battery backup system keeps your sump pump running in the event of a power outage or tripped circuit.

Once both products were in place, this homeowner could feel at ease knowing that their crawl space was now a dry environment.
