Solving Water Intrusion in a Basement in Campbell Hall, NY

A homeowner out in Campbell Hall, NY contacted our office because he needed our services due to his basement experiencing issues with water intrusion. We booked him an appointment for a free estimate with our specialist Mark, and Mark headed out to take a look at the current situation inside this basement. A full waterproofing solution was proposed, the homeowner was on board, and soon our crew got to work.

They started by jackhammering the concrete slab to be able to install the WaterGuard System with a strip of our BrightWall panels behind it. The WaterGuard System is an interior drainage system that is capable of collecting any water that seeps through your basement walls. The BrightWall panles are waterproof and help drain any incoming water into the WaterGuard System itself. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System we installed along with a battery backup system, can discharge very high volumes of water. It pumps out whatever the WaterGuard System drains into it and takes it out and away from the foundation. All three of these products work together in their own tight-knit network to ensure the basement stays free of water. On the discharge line for this sump pump, we also installed our IceGuard. The IceGuard prevents floods due to a frozen or clogged discharge line during the super cold months. Our TrenchDrain System went in areas where the WaterGuard System could not go. The grated openings in the TrenchDrain System allow the water to flow from the floor and into the WaterGuard System, since we made sure to connect them together. Finally, we placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifer to keep humidity low. Now this basement is a dry and healthy environment and the homeowner can be stress free.
