Water Stains on the Wall
Here you can see how the water was leaking through the walls and left behind many visible signs. The efflorescence and water stains are a clear indication that water has been seeping through these concrete block walls.
Jackhammering Begins
Our crew started chipping away at the concrete slab to make room for the interior drainage system to get installed.
WaterGuard System
This interior drainage system collects the water seeping through your walls by using its built-in wall flange to funnel the water directly into the system itself. It sits on top of the foundation footing and has large openings, so it does not become clogged with dirt or debris.
Concrete Restored and BrightWall Panel Installed
The concrete slab has been fully restored, and the WaterGuard System is ready to do its job. A strip of our BrightWall Panels was installed behind it to help drain the water into the WaterGuard.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System and Dehumidifer
The TripleSafe Sump Pump System will discharge any water that the WaterGuard System funnels into it. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifer is also set up to drain directly into the sump pump so there's no need to empty any buckets of water. This sump pump system is designed to pump out thousands of gallons of water and the dehumidifier can take up to 100 pints of water out the air per day. This basement is now fully protected from water intrusion and humidity!
