For everyday function, it has a 1/3 horsepower cast-iron Zoeller sump pump designed to discharge up to 2,220 gallons of water. 

The IceGuard Discharge Line System was also installed to ensure that the sump pump kept running smoothly if the discharge line was to freeze during the winter or became clogged. The slotted openings allow the water to escape and flow away from the home, avoiding a backed-up sump pump and severe floods in the basement. 

Once this job was done, the homeowner knew her basement was protected and that any water intrusion would be handled properly thanks to our products.  She was thrilled with how the sump pump was working and how quickly our crew was able to install everything and clean it all up.
