A homeowner’s basement in Wallkill, NY was experiencing issues with water pooling onto the floor. The person was unsure of where exactly the water was coming from. The Basement Transformer was called and asked to help find a solution to the problem. To keep the water out of this basement, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System and IceGuard Discharge Line System.
The team worked hard, jackhammering away at a thick slab of concrete in the corner of the basement to make room for the TripleSafe Sump Pump.
To prepare for the IceGuard discharge line, a crew member carefully dug out the grass in small sections so we could run the line outside & away from the home and then placed the grass back where we found it.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a state-of-the-art product because it comes with three levels of protection against flooding. It has two horsepower cast-iron sump pumps and a battery-backup system. If the primary pump fails, the more powerful, secondary pump will turn on. If the secondary pump fails, that’s when the most powerful battery-backup system will come into play. All three pumps are capable of discharging thousands of gallons of water.
The IceGuard ensures that water will still be pumped out of your home even if the main discharge line gets clogged or freezes during the winter. It gives water another route to leave the basement instead of backing up into the basement, preventing what would be a major flood and nightmare.
With these products installed, the water that once pooled into the basement now had no way to stay!
