Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Basement in Wallkill, NY with a TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard Drainage System
There was a leaky wall in a homeowner’s basement in Wallkill, NY so they reached out to The Basement Transformer to see how we could help.
To make sure that any water coming in through the walls would no longer remain in their basement or cause any damage, our crew installed two of our trustworthy products. Those two products are the TripleSafe Sump Pump System and the WaterGuard Drainage System.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump System features not one, but 3 levels of protection against flooding! It has 2 cast-iron Zoeller horsepower pumps that are designed to pump out thousands of gallons of water. In case of a power outage, the battery-back up pump will then turn on and keep discharging water out of your basement. When it’s fully charged, it can pump up to 11,500 gallons of water or more. Whether you have good or bad weather, our TripleSafe Sump Pump will keep your basement dry.
The WaterGuard Drainage System is installed slightly below the floor slab, on a bed of drainage stone, and rests on top of the foundation footing.
Installing it this way prevents it from getting clogged by mud or debris. It is designed to collect any water leaking in through the walls using the built-in wall flange, which then directs it into the WaterGuard and into your sump pump.
Thanks to our products, this homeowner was at ease knowing that their basement would stay dry and flood free!
