Solving a Homeowner's Water Intrusion Issues in Pine Bush, NY

A homeowner located in Pine Bush, NY contacted us because he needed waterproofing done in his basement. Water was coming up through the middle of the floor, and it needed to be stopped. Our appointment center got the homeowner on the schedule for a free estimate and our specialist Paul headed out to take a look at the basement. This basement was being used as a storage space, so it became even more important for us to protect it from water. Paul proposed that we install a full waterproofing system, and the homeowner agreed. Our crew started the work at the end of April. First they began by jackhammering a portion of the concrete slab that is underneath the finished floor. Next, they laid down the interior drainage system known as WaterGuard around the entire perimeter of the basement, above the foundation footing and resting in a bed of drainage stone. Once that was in place, they restored the concrete slab. Around the bottom part of the walls, we placed our CleanSpace Wall System to stop water vapor from passing through the walls, and to be directed into the WaterGuard System instead. On the floor inside of the doorway, we installed our TrenchDrain System, which will receive any incoming water through said doorway and funnel it into the interior drainage system. On opposite sides of the basement, we installed sump pumps to discharge the water out and away from the home. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System we installed is fully equipped to handle large volumes of water with its two pumps and battery backup system. The secondary pump we installed is a great back up option, because it features our TripleSafe Sump Pump liner and 1/3 horsepower pump. 

Now this basement will be a dry and healthy environment for years to come!
