Setting Up Pipes for the DryTrak System
Here you can see where our crew jackhammered towards the middle of the floor to carve out room for the pipes that will help funnel the water from the DryTrak System to the sump pump we installed.
DryTrak System and BrightWall Panels Stop Water Intrusion
We installed BrightWall Panels behind the DryTrak System to help direct the water straight into the DryTrak System itself. This rigid plastic sheeting creates a vapor barrier on the basement walls as well, which prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. The DryTrak System on the other hand is designed specifically for monolithic foundations, such as the one found in this basement. It gets permanently epoxied to the floor and the small opening at the top allows the water to be collected and drained into the sump pump.
Trench Drain Grated Drain Pipe in the Entryway
This grated drainpipe helps prevent flooding from an outer entryway. The openings allow water to flow from the floor and directly into this system where it then gets redirected into the DryTrak System and eventually into the sump pump.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System Protects Against Floods
This state-of-the-art sump pump system features two horsepower cast-iron pumps and a battery backup system. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System provides the ultimate protection against floods. Each pump can discharge thousands of gallons of water, and the battery backup system keeps the sump pump running smoothly in the event of a tripped circuit or power outage.
