Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Basement Walls in Sparrow Bush, NY
The walls in this basement would not stop leaking water, so the homeowner contacted us to help them. Our team came up with a plan to install our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement walls first. This system is designed to collect any water seeping through the walls and directs it back to the sump pump. It is installed outside of the mud zone to prevent the possibility of clogging. Later, we discovered that a small strip of our BrightWall basement wall panels was needed all around the basement in addition to the WaterGuard drainage system. The walls started leaking water above where we placed the drainage system and onto the floor. We used BrightWall panels to help direct the water back into the drainage system where it belongs. They are 100% waterproof, ridged plastic sheets that were the perfect solution to this problem. With both products installed, this homeowner knew their walls would no longer let water seep onto their basement floor and the area would remain dry.
