What Are the Different Types of Sump Pumps?

There are a few different types of sump pumps that we can install into your home.

Each one of these varies slightly in their capabilities, but they are all designed to protect your home from floods and severe water damage to your property. If you have problems with water coming into your basement, a sump pump is a great asset to add to any home. Contact us today for a free estimate and our team will figure out how to help you!

1.       The TripleSafe Sump Pump System:

The TripleSafe Sump Pump is special because it has 3 layers of protection against flooding built into it. When it functions on a normal basis, it operates with a powerful cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower pump that can discharge up to 2,220 gallons of water. If the volume of the water starts to increase or if the primary pump fails, the second pump will start to take over. The second pump is a cast-iron Zoller 1/2 horsepower, that can get discharge up to an additional 3,900 gallons of water.

If the sump pump fails or in the event of a power outage, the TripleSafe UltraSump Battery Backup System will help protect your home! It can get rid of up to 11,500 gallons of water or more on the highest setting, with a fully charged battery. A second battery can also be installed to provide even longer running time.

This sump pump system is an excellent option to choose as the ultimate source of protection against water in your basement.

2.       SuperSump Premier Pump System

If you have occasional water intrusion in your basement or less severe flooding, the SuperSump Premier Pump System is a great and effective option.

This system is designed to help keep your basement dry for long periods of time and during the event of heavy water intrusion.

It also contains a powerful cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower sump pump, just like the TripleSafe system described above.

The UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump can also be added onto this system for an optional added layer of protection against flooding.

This system is a great option to consider if water is not a major issue in your home, but you still need a form of protection against water in your basement.

3.       SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System

This sump pump system is designed specifically for crawl spaces. It is made to fit within the CleanSpace liner we install inside the crawl space. It features a cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower pump with the ability to discharge up to 2,500 gallons of water per hour.

Just like with our other sump pump systems, you also have the option of adding on The UltraSump Battery Backup Sump Pump for extra protection against floods.

If your crawlspace is suffering from flooding or leaks, this system is the perfect solution for you.

4.       Additional Features:

Our sump pump systems can include additional features to provide you with an ease of mind such as a WaterWatch Alarm, IceGuard Discharge Line, and more!

The WaterWatch Alarm alerts you if the water level is too high and the pumps should’ve turned on, so you’ll always be aware of any issues.

The IceGuard Discharge Line protects your basement in the event of freezing during the colder months. If the main pipe that runs underground does freeze, water can still escape through this secondary route and will not enter your basement!
