All Things Breakfasty for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation

The Basement Transformer is a company that always aims to give back to our local communities. Together, our team figured out a way to do just that. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization that helps families affected by 9/11, first responders, and veterans to rebuild their lives with funds from nationwide charity runs.

David Sawransky, the owner, and John Moore, our project coordinator, have attended and participated in many of Tunnel to Tower’s events, and thought they would be an excellent organization to partner with.

Our company hosted breakfast for the local communities at VFW in Greenville, NY. We even had some team members cook breakfast for the families that came to our event. The team had a blast getting to do something outside of what a normal workday typically involves. 

We donated all the proceeds from this event to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and we even included fun prizes in the raffles. Lots of happy winners took home baskets filled with great items. 

The turnout was fantastic! The Orange County officials, State Troopers, and members of the Tunnel to Towers chapter in Pike County, PA were all in attendance.
It truly was a great day for a great cause!
