Photo Album: Waterproofing with The WaterGuard in Wawarsing, NY
In Wawarsing, NY, a homeowner needed a waterproofing solution to help any water that found its way into their basement exit and stay out. Our crew at The Basement Transformer installed our award-winning and patented drainage system, known as The WaterGuard Below-Floor Drainage System, to help them solve this problem. This drainage system is installed away from the “mud-zone”, so it does not become clogged with dirt or debris. The unique shape of the pipe and the large drain openings aid in its ability to do so. It also includes ports for annual maintenance and easy access.
It works by collecting any water that seeps through the basement walls with its built-in wall flange and directs it right into the WaterGuard system.
To install this successfully and quickly, our team removed a small amount of concrete slab all around the perimeter of the basement. Once the system was in place and secured, all concrete was restored, and it looked like the floor had never been touched!
Now this homeowner has a product they can count on to collect and direct any water that leaks through the walls out of their home for good.
