Efflorescence on the Walls
Signs of water intrusion were present when the specialist went to inspect the home. Efflorescence, which is a white chalky substance, could be seen left behind on the walls after the minerals in the concrete blocks dissolved and the water evaporated off the surface.
WaterGuard System Paired with BrightWall Panels
Our WaterGuard System is a patented interior drainage system designed to collect any water seeping through your walls and drain it into our sump pump system. We put a small portion of our BrightWall Panels behind it to ensure that water flows directly into the WaterGuard System. These panels are 100% waterproof and made of rigid plastic.
TrenchDrain Grated Drain Pipe
Our TrenchDrain Grated Drain Pipe is designed to span the opening of an outer entryway into the basement, such as the door pictured above, to help prevent flooding. The grated opening allows the system to receive any water that flows onto the floor where it then makes its way into the WaterGuard System and the sump pump system we installed. Installing the TrenchDrain Grated Drain Pipe on the inside of the doorway also helps to mitigate debris falling in or the system freezing during the winter.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System Paired with SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier
The TripleSafe Sump Pump System provides the ultimate protection against flooding thanks to its two cast-iron Zoeller horsepower pumps and the battery backup system that is attached. Each one is capable of discharging thousands of gallons of water. We set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to drain directly into the TripleSafe Sump Pump System so that any water it collects from the air will automatically be pumped out and away from the home. This super-efficient dehumidifier can remove up to 100 pints of water from your air per day.
