The Installation Begins
Here you can see where the crew began jackhammering underneath the stairs to make room for the WaterGuard System that has to get installed. WaterGuard is installed along the wall and collects any water that seeps through because of the wall flange that extends up the wall to 3/8".

The BrightWall and WaterGuard Gets Installed
We installed our BrightWall System to stop water vapor and humidity from passing through the walls. You can see the panels installed here underneath the stairs. They are 100% waterproof and made of rigid plastic. The WaterGuard System is no longer visible because the concrete floor has been completely restored.

WaterGuard Has Special Features
The WaterGuard drainage system is installed above your foundation footing and below the floor slab, so it is out of what is known as the "mud zone". This is so dirt and debris do not clog the drainage system. It also features large drainage openings and a unique shape that makes it resistant to clogging.

Concrete Floor Gets Restored
Once the WaterGuard is in place, all the concrete gets restored so it's as if the WaterGuard is practically invisible. Since minimal invasion of the concrete slab is required, this makes the process of installing the system quick and easy.

BrightWall Works with WaterGuard
Installing the BrightWall panels with the WaterGuard system also allows for any water seeping through the walls to be directed into the WaterGuard itself. These panels also transform the look of your basement walls, making them look bright and clean.
