Basement Rip Out
Our crew members started by ripping out the existing basement. The concrete walls and floors were not in great condition. Cracks were visible in the concrete blocks.
WaterGuard System Installed
The concrete slab was jackhammered to make room for the interior drainage system known as WaterGuard System. This collects any water coming in through the walls thanks to its built-in wall flange.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Installed
The WaterGuard System is set up to funnel any water directly into the TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This sump pump is equipped to handle thousands of gallons of water thanks to its 1/3 horsepower primary pump and 1/2 horsepower secondary pump. The battery backup system keeps it running in the event of a power outage or tripped circuit.
PowerBraces Used to Stabilize Wall
Our PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System was used to stabilize this failing wall. These steel I-beams get secured to the floor joists above using steel brackets. Now this wall won't go anywhere.
Finished Basement
We used the EverLast Perimeter Wall System, the linen stone wool ceiling tiles, and our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring in gray to transform this space. These products do not support mold growth and are designed to withstand a basement environment.
Useable Restroom
Now the homeowner has a nice bathroom to use inside the basement. The ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring we installed will never buckle, rot, or swell due to water either, making it the perfect floor for a bathroom.
Plenty of Space
There's a ton of useable space in this basement and it has the potential to be used for an office or even a play area for kids.
Closet and Bathroom Doors
There's room to store things inside the closet pictured here and the door to the bathroom is right next to it. These doors are a nice addition to the overall look of the basement.
