A Run Down and Stained Basement
The walls spoke for themselves. It was clear from the damage all over the walls that this basement needed our help.
The Crew Strikes Water
As our crew jackhammered the concrete slab to make room for the interior perimeter drainage system, they found pools of water lurking underneath. Lots of water left inside a basement can cause mold to grow or make it smell humid and musty. That is certainly never a good thing.
WaterGuard Installation in Progress
Our WaterGuard System is pictured sitting against the wall and inside the trench the crew created with a jackhammer. This system will collect any water that comes through the walls and will prevent it from leaking onto the floor. It can do this thanks to its built-in wall flange. The water that gets collected will then get transported to the sump pump system we installed so it can get taken out of the basement entirely.
All Concrete Restored, Sump Pump and Dehumidifier are in Place
The WaterGuard System has now been installed by our team, and the concrete slab has been restored. Our TripleSafe Sump System will ensure that this basement is protected from flooding. It can remove thousands of gallons of water thanks to its two Zoeller cast-iron horsepower pumps and battery backup system. The SaniDry Seodna XP Upright Dehumidifier will keep the basement air dry and the humidity at bay.
Basement Stabilized
We used our SmartJack System to stabilize the sagging floor joists above this basement. These supports are made from galvanized steel, which means unlike wood, they will never rot or become damaged by water.
