Water in the Basement
Water had made its way into the basement, and it pooled onto the floor. This basement desperately needed a system to take the water out and keep it out.
A Faulty Sump Pump
This sump pump was simply unreliable and not fit to do its job. It was not keeping the water out of the basement and without an airtight lid over it, water could easily make its way back into the basement.
A State-of-the-Art Sump Pump and Dehumidifier
Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System with the UltraSump Battery Backup System that we installed would ensure that this homeowner no longer had to worry about massive floods. This system is equipped to handle large volumes of water and can discharge thousands of gallons from the home. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier makes sure the basement air stays dry and that humidity is under control. It also helps to get rid of the gross smell lurking in the air.
CleanSpace Wall System Prevents Water from Passing Through
This vapor barrier prevents water from making its way through the walls and into the basement. It also helps direct any water into the interior drainage system we installed because it was placed behind it.
BrightWall Panels and WaterGuard System
Our waterproof BrightWall panels got installed behind our interior drainage system, known as WaterGuard, to help direct any incoming water into the drainage system itself. The WaterGuard System can collect any water seeping through the walls thanks to its built-in wall flange. It then takes this water and drains it into the TripleSafe Sump Pump System we installed.
IceGuards on the Discharge Line
These were installed on the line that runs to the outside of the home, to ensure that no floods would occur due to a frozen or clogged discharge line connected to the sump pump system. This device allows water to escape even in the wintertime and allows the sump pump to run smoothly and as planned.
