Water Stains and Broken Concrete
Here you can clearly see that water was making its way through these concrete block walls because there are stains all over the walls and the concrete on the column has totally deteriorated. Also, a trench has been dug out to prepare for the installation of the interior drainage system.
CleanSpace Installed
Here you can see the CleanSpace Wall System has been placed over top of the concrete block walls, hiding those stains and giving the walls a fresh and bright appearance.
Before the Transformation of This Basement Corner
Here you can see another angle of the basement where the same issue was occurring regarding water stains on the walls. The trench is where our interior drainage system, known as the WaterGuard System, will be placed to collect any incoming water from the walls. It gets installed above the foundation footing and just below the concrete slab to keep it out of the mud zone, where it can become clogged.
CleanSpace & WaterGuard Installed
Now both systems have been installed in this corner of the basement. The CleanSpace Wall System is a vapor barrier and prevents water and moisture from passing through the foundation walls. The WaterGuard System is assisted by this wall system, as any incoming water will get funneled into it thanks to it being placed behind the WaterGuard. The built-in wall flange on the WaterGuard System also allows it to collect incoming water.
Concrete Slab Restored & Transformation Complete
The concrete slab has been restored, so the WaterGuard System is barely visible now. These leaky walls will now be a problem of the past now that our waterproofing products have been installed.
