Photo 1: Damaged Walls
The concrete walls in this basement had clearly been damaged by water intrusion. Something needed to be done so water would no longer seep through the concrete blocks and into the basement.
Photo 2: WaterGuard System
Along this wall, our team placed the WaterGuard System and restored the concrete slab afterwards. This interior drainage system is designed to collect any water coming through the walls.
Photo 3: Foamax Basement Wall Panels
To further combat these leaky walls, we put our Foamax Basement Wall Panels on top of the concrete walls. They feature a foil vapor barrier on the back which helps to keep humidity in the basement under control.
Photo 4: WaterGuard Has Special Features
Thanks to its built-in wall flange, the WaterGuard System is able to collect the water coming from the walls. It also has large drainage openings and gets installed above the foundation footing to avoid becoming clogged.
Photo 5: Foamax Brightens the Basement
Not only do they help control humidity, but our wall panels also gave these old basement walls a makeover and brightened up the room.
