Before the Waterproofing
This is what the basement looked like before our team stepped in to fix it. We had to stop the water from coming through the foundation walls and into the basement.
Waterproofing in Progress
Here you can see where the crew began jackhammering away at the concrete to make room for the WaterGuard System to sit just below the slab. The CleanSpace Wall System has also been attached to the existing wall using plastic drilled-in fasteners, making sure it won't fall off.
Basement Walls Waterproofed
Now the WaterGuard System has been set in place using freshly poured concrete. It will receive any water from the walls via its built-in wall flange that extends up the wall at 3/8". The CleanSpace Wall System will help to funnel any water that comes through the walls directly into the WaterGuard System and stops moisture and humidity from passing through.
TrenchDrain Gets Installed
Here you can see our TrenchDrain System being installed on the inside of this basement entryway that leads to the outdoors. If any water comes down the steps and attempts to make it into the basement, the grated opening in this system will collect it as it comes through the door and will funnel it into the WaterGuard System. It will then get drained into the sump pump system we installed in one corner of the basement.
Basement Waterproofing Complete
Now the basement is fully waterproofed, and it's equipped to handle water intrusion.
