Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Transformed & Waterproofed in Shokan, NY

We transformed the walls in this basement for a homeowner out in Shokan, NY. The old walls were not in the best condition and our team knew our Foamax Wall insulation product was the perfect solution. These walls are made from a high-performance polyisocyanurate foam that helps make the basement warmer and drier. They are designed with a white foiled finish on the front that brightens up the space, and a foil vapor barrier backing that controls the humidity of the basement. They can be left exposed without being finished and look great like they do in the photos below!    We also installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System basin with two discharge lines leading to the outside of the home. It features two powerful, cast-iron Zoeller horsepower sump pumps, with one set at 1/3 horsepower and the other at 1/2 horsepower. The 1/3 horsepower pump can discharge up to 2,220 gallons of water, while the 1/2 horsepower can discharge up to 3,900 additional gallons of water. During times of heavy water volume or in the case of primary pump failure, the 1/2 horsepower pump will take over and continue to propel water out and away from the home.    Together, both products helped to keep the basement remain a safe and dry environment.
