Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Insulating a Crawlspace with Foamax in Rhinebeck, NY
A crawlspace located in Rhinebeck, NY had walls that were causing moisture issues, and they needed to be insulated as well.
The homeowner contacted us to see how we could help them. Our team proposed installing our Foamax panels on top of their concrete walls, and that’s exactly what we did. These panels are made of polyisocyanurate foam featuring a white foil finish on the front of the panel, and a foil vapor barrier on the back. With these panels in place, condensation cannot form in the summertime and the heat will stay trapped inside instead of escaping during the wintertime. Foamax panels provide excellent protection against moisture and help keep condensation out where it’s not wanted. They also made the crawlspace walls look cleaner and brighter. Once our team was done, this homeowner had a crawlspace with a great environment and warmer air.
