A homeowner located in New Windsor, NY was having issues with water intrusion inside of their basement. They contacted our company to see how we could help solve this problem.
Our specialist went out to take a look at the basement and determined that both our CleanSpace Wall System and WaterGuard System needed to be installed.
The CleanSpace Wall System is 100% waterproof, made of plastic, and blocks water vapor from passing through your basement walls. It even features built in anti-microbial protection known as UltraFresh, which means mold and mildew are unable to grow on the CleanSpace.
Our WaterGuard System is installed along the perimeter of the basement, with minimal invasion done to your concrete slab. This patented design features large drain openings and a unique shape which makes it resistant to clogs. It also has a wall flange that extends up your basement wall at 3/8". This wall flange allows the water leaking through your walls to be collected and directed right into the WaterGuard System.
With these two products in place, water vapor could not pass through the walls and would be directed into the WaterGuard System.
Once our crew was done, this homeowner could feel at ease knowing their basement was protected from water intrusion.
Our team sealed off this crawl space from the earth and prevented water vapor from getting inside using the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This 20-mil reinforced polymer liner is extremely durable and helps to prevent mold growth and rotting wood. Drainage matting was placed underneath to enhance the longevity and durability of the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. We also used SilverGlo to insulate the crawl space and to stop air leaks from happening. Once our team was finished with the job, this crawl space was now a dry and healthy environment!
A homeowner in Saugerties, NY called us to take care of their dirty crawl space that had been giving them issues for 12 years. This crawl space was wreaking havoc and causing the upper portion of the home to have a musty or moldy smell. To eliminate the problem, we encapsulated the crawl space using our CleanSpace Encapsulation System and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System serves as a barrier and seals off the crawl space from the earth, preventing water vapor from entering. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier takes up to 100 pints of water out of your crawl space air per day, making the air nice and dry, which causes that damp smell to go away.
This home, in Newburgh NY, was mostly renovated by the bank when a young couple purchased the home. There were a few things to complete that the bank did not do. This one is fixing the drywall in the garage. When an electrician cut the drywall to install a sub-panel in the basement he failed to close the hole in the wall. This is a garage and builing code requires that it be sealed to meet the fire ratings. We came in and patched with the propper drywall to get the fire rating back.
Before and after we installed our TripleSafe sump pump system.
