The sump pump discharge lines are fed to the outside of the home, making them vulnerable to the possibility of freezing during the winter months. If the discharge line gets clogged due to freezing, the sump pump will not be able to function properly and can’t remove any water that may get into your basement. That problem is solved by using the IceGuard Discharge Line System. It fits over the top of the discharge line for the sump pump, and provides a secondary route for the water to escape if the line freezes. It will direct all the water away from your home and it’s compatible with all our sump pump systems! This product provides an extra layer of protection against any flooding, especially if you live somewhere cold.
