Dirty Crawl Space
Here you can see how much debris and dirt was inside this crawl space before our team transformed it.
Drainage Matting
First the team started out by laying down some drainage matting to help enhance the longevity and durability of the encapsulation liner that was to go over the top.
Old Sump Pump
The old sump pump inside this crawl space had no airtight lid which means that water can easily evaporate back into the crawl space air.
New Sump Pump & Dehumidifier
This new sump pump system has a powerful 1/3 horsepower cast-iron Zoeller pump inside capable of discharging 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head. It also has an airtight lid, which means no water is overflowing out of the liner itself. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier takes up to 100 pints of water out of the crawl space air per day and has been set up to directly drain it into the sump pump system.
Stabilized and Encapsulation Started
The crawl space is now stable again thanks to our SmartJack System which can support loads up to 60,000 pounds or more and is made of galvanized steel, meaning it's resistant to corrosion. The waterproof liner has been placed over top of the drainage matting, meaning the encapsulation is almost complete.
Encapsulation Complete
Now this crawl space has been fully encapsulated thanks to our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This super durable and strong waterproof polymer liner keeps water vapor from passing through and into the crawl space.
