Dirt Crawl Space Needs to Be Sealed
This dirt crawl space needed to be sealed off from the earth so that water and moisture could no longer make their way inside and wreak havoc.
CleanSpace Saves the Day
Our team covered this crawlspace with our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. This 20-mil reinforced polymer liner prevents water from getting into the crawl space. It does not support mold growth thanks to its built-in antimicrobial additive. We used our XL drainage matting underneath to enhance the longevity and durability of this already incredibly strong vapor barrier.
Insulation Needed
This crawl space needed to be insulated to prevent air leaks and the pipes running underneath this home from freezing during the wintertime.
Insulated and Waterproofed
We used our Foamax wall panels on the walls to insulate this crawl space, as well as our foam insulation along the rim joists above to help reduce the amount of conductive heat loss. These wall panels are made with polyisocyanurate foam with a foil finish on the front and a foil vapor barrier on the back and help to reduce condensation. We installed our SmartSump Crawl Space Sump Pump System to discharge any incoming water, paired with our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the humidity levels under control.
