1. Major Wall Cracks and Bowing
This wall was unstable and the cracks and bowing were solid proof that something needed to be done and fast. Stair step cracks and a wall protruding outwards are red flags that need to be addressed before something serious like a wall collapsing occurs.
2. Signs of Water Seeping In
It was evident that water was also making its way through these walls from the water stains and deterioration of the paint on the concrete blocks. Something needed to be put in place to stop the water from leaking through.
3. CleanSpace Saves the Day
Our CleanSpace Wall System is the perfect solution for a leaky wall problem. This super durable plastic barrier prevents water vapor and moisture from passing through. It also contains built-in anti-microbial protection, so mold cannot grow on it. Our interior drainage system, known as WaterGuard, was also placed along the perimeter to help collect any water seeping through the walls along with a 10-foot strip of our XL TrenchDrain System to catch any water coming through the entrance to the space.
4. EverBrace Stabilizes the Walls
Now these failing walls are permanently stabilized thanks to our EverBrace Wall Restoration System. Brand new walls have been created with this system made of corrugated steel panels that span between steel I-beams, which feature components coated in zinc so they're resistant to corrosion. Behind the steel panels is a specialized ridged foam, which fills the gaps between the existing wall and panels, ultimately transferring the load from the failing wall to the EverBrace System.
