The Basement Transformer Before & After Photos

Our team headed to Accord, NY to transform an unfinished basement into a livable and usable space. Instead of just having a ceiling filled with exposed fiberglass insulation known to absorb moisture and grow mold, we installed our linen stone wool ceiling tiles inside this homeowner’s basement. These tiles do not support mold growth because they are made with stone wool fiber, which is an inorganic material that mold cannot thrive on. Our team covered up the bare concrete walls using our EverLast Perimeter Wall System, EverLast Partition Wall System, and our Ever Last Non-Insulated Wall panels. None of these wall systems can be damaged by moisture and are made to last in a basement environment. Finally, we used our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring in grey to give the floor that polished and finished look. Unlike organic wood panels, this flooring will not buckle, swell, rot, or grow mold. Now this basement is ready to use and will last for years to come! 

We waterproofed a leaky basement in Campbell Hall, NY by using our CleanSpace Wall System, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and two of our interior drainage systems. The TrenchDrain System went around the areas where there are appliances that cannot be moved. The DryTrak System went along the perimeter of the basement walls since this house has a monolithic foundation. A homeowner’s crawl space needed to be insulated so the outside air would stop coming in and impacting the air quality inside the crawl space. The fiberglass insulation that was there before was not getting the job done. To solve the issue, our team installed our SilverGlo insulated panels on the walls of the crawl space and covered up the vent with our CleanSpace vent cover. Unlike fiberglass insulation, our SilverGlo panels will never lose their R-value or become damaged by moisture. The CleanSpace vent cover provides an airtight seal so unconditioned air from the outside cannot find its way inside. We also insulated the rim joists with foam insulation to reduce conductive heat loss. Now this crawl space is sealed off from the outside air! 

We upgraded this homeowner’s faulty sump pump by replacing it with our TripleSafe Sump Pump liner and a 1/3 horsepower cast-iron pump inside. This pump can discharge up to 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head. Now the homeowner has a reliable sump pump in place with an airtight lid that will protect the basement from floods.  

A homeowner located in Chester, NY contacted us because water intrusion was a major problem in their basement. Water was seeping through the concrete floor in large sections and had to be addressed as soon as possible.
