There was a homeowner located in Hurley, NY that needed a top performing sump pump system. That’s when The Basement Transformer team came to help. Our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which offers three lines of defense against flooding. Our crew knew that our CleanSpace Encapsulation System and Foamax Wall Insulation Panels would be the answer to this homeowner’s problems. 

The Foamax Wall Panels went all along the perimeter of the crawlspace and the CleanSpace Encapsulation System covered the entirety of the floor. 

Unlike typical forms of insulation made from fiberglass, Foamax is waterproof and does not support mold or mildew growth. Foamax is made of polyisocyanurate foam and features a foil vapor barrier on its backside, which reduces condensation and protects against moisture. 

The CleanSpace Encapsulation is the perfect waterproofing solution that also provides protection against mold growth and pest infestations. It is a 20-mil reinforced polymer liner with a drainage mat installed underneath, which forms a permanent seal for leaking crawl space floors. This vapor barrier system will ensure that the water stays out and the humidity is under control.
