The Basement Transformer Before & After Photos

We waterproofed a leaky basement in Campbell Hall, NY by using our CleanSpace Wall System, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and two of our interior drainage systems. The TrenchDrain System went around the areas where there are appliances that cannot be moved. The DryTrak System went along the perimeter of the basement walls since this house has a monolithic foundation. Any incoming water will be drained into the interior drainages systems and pumped out thanks to the TripleSafe Sump Pump System! Together all these products work together to ensure that this basement is a dry and healthy environment.

A homeowner’s crawl space needed to be insulated so the outside air would stop coming in and impacting the air quality inside the crawl space. The fiberglass insulation that was there before was not getting the job done. To solve the issue, our team installed our SilverGlo insulated panels on the walls of the crawl space and covered up the vent with our CleanSpace vent cover. Unlike fiberglass insulation, our SilverGlo panels will never lose their R-value or become damaged by moisture. The CleanSpace vent cover provides an airtight seal so unconditioned air from the outside cannot find its way inside. We also insulated the rim joists with foam insulation to reduce conductive heat loss. Now this crawl space is sealed off from the outside air!

A homeowner located in Chester, NY contacted us because water intrusion was a major problem in their basement. Water was seeping through the concrete floor in large sections and had to be addressed as soon as possible. Our transformation specialist knew that our TripleSafe Sump Pump System was the product this homeowner desperately needed. When our crew began jackhammering to install it, about two inches of water quickly poured in, proving exactly why a sump pump was needed in this basement. The color difference of the concrete from one layer to the next was also drastic. On the surface it appeared dry, but underneath the concrete was totally damp and full of water. All those issues would be solved thanks to our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which features two cast-iron Zoeller horsepower pumps designed to discharge thousands of gallons of water. To keep the sump pump working even under the harshest conditions or in the event of a power outage, we attached our UltraSump battery backup sump pump. On a fully charged battery it can discharge up to 11,500 or more gallons of water! Now this homeowner’s basement is equipped with the ultimate form of protection against floods.
