A homeowner in Congers, NY needed an IceGuard Discharge Line System installed along with their SuperSump Pump System. The sump pump discharge lines are fed to the outside of the home, making them vulnerable to the possibility of freezing during the winter months. If the discharge line gets clogged due to freezing, the sump pump will not be able to function properly and can’t remove any water that may get into your basement. That problem is solved by using the IceGuard Discharge Line System. It fits over the top of the discharge line for the sump pump, and provides a secondary route for the water to escape if the line freezes. It will direct all the water away from your home and it’s compatible with all our sump pump systems! This product provides an extra layer of protection against any flooding, especially if you live somewhere cold.

We were called to redo some 1/2 walls and full walls after the boiler releif valve failed and flooded the basement. 

When Rich & Rosa needed more space they saw an advertisement for Basement to Beautiful and decided to make a call to find out more. After their first visit from The Home Transformer of NY, they like many families put it on the back burner, until they received an email from The Home Transformer of NY and it reignited the thought. They decided to move forward with the project, and after some consultations on some ideas, the project was started.

Once Oscar was involved, the project took off and as you can see from the after picture Rich & Rosa are truly happy.
