The Basement Transformer Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Poughkeepsie, NY had some serious foundation issues in their basement. The walls had large horizontal cracks and clear signs of being damaged from water intrusion. Efflorescence could be seen all over the walls, which meant water had seeped through and put pressure on these walls, causing them to crack and fall apart.  We used our PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System to stabilize these walls and stop any more damage from occurring. These steel I-beams get attached to the joists above your walls with steel brackets and can be easily adjusted to attempt to raise the wall back to its original position. Once the PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System was in place, this wall was not going anywhere! 

A basement in Hyde Park, NY was having water some issues. Water was coming in through the corners of the porous concrete walls and leaking onto the floor, making it wet and damp. Our team knew exactly what to do to prevent the water from ever intruding again. We installed our WaterGuard Drainage System and our SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System to keep the water out. Both products work hand in hand, as the WaterGuard collects any water seeping in through the walls and directs it to the SuperSump. The SuperSump pump is designed to keep the basement dry, even during times of heavy rain. It features a 1/3 horsepower pump capable of discharging 2,220 gallons of water out of the home. This sump pump was a great option for this homeowner who was having less severe water intrusion but still needed a way to keep the basement dry.

After their first visit from The Home Transformer of NY, they like many families put it on the back burner, until they received an email from The Home Transformer of NY and it reignited the thought. They decided to move forward with the project, and after some consultations on some ideas, the project was started.

Once Oscar was involved, the project took off and as you can see from the after picture Rich & Rosa are truly happy.
