A homeowner located in Chester, NY contacted us because water intrusion was a major problem in their basement. Water was seeping through the concrete floor in large sections and had to be addressed as soon as possible. When our crew began jackhammering to install it, about two inches of water quickly poured in, proving exactly why a sump pump was needed in this basement. The color difference of the concrete from one layer to the next was also drastic. On the surface it appeared dry, but underneath the concrete was totally damp and full of water.
